Tankbag High-End R1200GS

The basic construction of the "High End" tank bag is similar to 055-1123 and 055-1124. Except with additional features:

A third outer pocket in the front, a document compartment with a separate credit card bag in the lid, and a waterproof zip. As with all Touratech tank bags, a map bag is also included in the delivery. Seen here: the large version with room for maps of up to DIN A4 size. Simply add our waterproof inner bags (055-1071), and you can use this tank bag in any weather.

This R1200GS Tankbag Standard is optimally formed to fit the shape of the tank and it is expandable. The two side bags are positioned in such a way that they don't cause unintentional activation of the blinkers or horn when parking the motorcycle. An elastic cord is attached at the right which can be used to secure gloves should you happen to be at a border or petrol station.

The big map bag is now even bigger! It is attached to the tankbag with Velcro and can now hold an entire 8.5"x11" sheet. The tankbag can be removed in just a few seconds, allowing for easy fueling.

Included straps can transform the tankbag into a backpack.

This bag does not fit with the BMW mounting bracket for the BMW-branded Navigator GPS system (made by Garmin) that mounts between the handlebars of the R1200GS. It is fully compatible with the Touratech GPS mount adapters 040-0664 and 040-0665.
