Pannier rack Stainless Steel KTM 690 Enduro/R

The pannier rack for the KTM 690 Enduro is made of 18 mm stainless steel tube, which guarantees a particularly high level of stability even off the "beaten track". 18mm tubing is the required diameter to fit TOURATECH Zega cases (and KTM hard Zega cases).

The reason for this sturdy design is that KTM has not provided a structural rear frame to the 690 Enduro. In fact, you could say the rear tank is the rear frame. This special rack designed by TOURATECH performs the function of a proper rear subframe for a travelling motorcycle.

The pannier rack is fastened via two struts to the right and left of the riders footpeg holder. There are two additional struts on each side of the rack to prevent the pannier rack from twisting. One strut would not be enough to give the rack the necessary stability. The two rack elements on the right and left are screwed together by a bar behind the number plate mounting. The position of the rack was chosen to make sure that even with panniers in place, there would still be enough room in tight bends.The fitted width of the pannier rack is 48 cm. The pillion footpegs can be fitted directly to the pannier rack.
