Dream ship for real adventurers
Among large capacity adventure bikes, the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure is regarded as an icon and is the dream ship of many adventure riders.
Following the explosive launch of the liquid cooled R 1200 GS at the start of the season, BMW presented the eagerly awaited Adventure model with its new engine and drive concept at the EICMA in Milan. Based on a rich wealth of experience gained from hundreds of thousands of kilometres of travel experience, Touratech presents the new R 1200 GS Adventure in a full long-distance trim.
GS in Sporty Attire: Touratech R 1200 Rallye
Extreme conversions are a tradition at Touratech: after the Nuda-X-Cross, F 800 GS Racing or the legendary "Oryx extreme", the German motorcycling outfitters have now applied their expertise to the BMW R 1200 GS and given the steamship a sporty rally look.
Touratech's Expedition Engine Guard
For anybody who wants to ride their adventure bike off the beaten tracks, Touratech has developed an extremely robust engine protector, which will stand up to the toughest conditions.
The multiple-folded depressions in the robust aluminium baseplate ensure maximum stability. Thanks to an additional, lower stainless steel mounting plate on the engine, the force of an impact is distributed across the mounting points.
